Senior Profiles
PV 2008 Seniors
#52 Seth Richan
At 6"1" 180 Seth is pound for pound one of the strongest players on the team. He weight trained with the varsity linemen and refused to be intimidated by their lifts. At outside linebacker Seth is tough and reliable and has proven to be very coachable and team oriented.
#80 Jaren Oldroyd
At 6"3" Jaren creates a tall target at wide receiver. He is a hard worker and one of the most sure-handed receivers on this 2008 Panther offensive team. He can be counted on to make a catch.
#27 Ty Nelson
Ty is short in stature, but plays tall on the field. A tenacious defender at a starting corner spot, Ty is fast, quick to the ball and can deliver a big hit. The teams that try to pick on Ty will be in for a surprise.
#99 Michael Stephenson
Michael follows in the footsteps of older brother, Riley, who was an All State kicker for the 2005 Panther team and won a full-ride scholarship to BYU. Like his brother, Michael can produce highlight reel punts and will provide the 2008 Panthers with a superior kicking game.
#30 Stephen Anderson
Stephen is both a top student and one of Pine View's best soccer players. At 6'1" and 175 pounds Stephen brings his smarts and soccer talents to the football field where he excells at tenacious pass coverage and as a utility player at a number of positions on offense.
#22 Jake Harris
Jake comes from an athletic family and is the younger brother of Nate Harris, a former All State linebacker at Pine View and now at Dixie State. Jake is tall and rangy at 6"2" and 180 pounds. Like his brother, Jake is a fierce competitor and heavy hitter. Jake will man a safety position for the Panthers in 2008 and will also see some minutes at wide receiver
# 21 Chaz Hullinger
Chaz Hullinger will be an important cog in a very good defensive team in 2008. At 5'9" and 170 pounds Chaz is not large in stature, but he's tough, quick and plays with dogged determination. With the graduation of All State corner Riley Dias, Chaz will be counted on at the corner to shut down one of the opponent's wideouts.
#51 DL Nick Kinder
Nick Kinder is a man of uncommon strength. The senior defensive lineman stands 6'2" and weighs just 215 pounds, but squats 525 and benches 340. With his incredible mass to power ratio, it's no surprise that Kinder runs a 4.6 forty. His combination of speed, power, and toughness make him an ideal nose guard for the Panthers.
#77 OL Adam Cass
Adam Cass, a 6'4" 297 pound senior offensive lineman, returns this year after missing the entire 2007 season. Adam has played very little football before this season, although it's hard to tell from watching him. Cass squats an impressive 500 pounds and has exceptional quickness for a player of his size. His size, intelligence, mobility, and strength make him an overpowering blocker and a potential D1 recruit. Cass will most likely play right offensive guard for the Panthers in 2008.
#81 DE Cody Hintze
Cody Hintze, a 6'3" 215 pound senior defensive end, is an outstanding pass rusher with uncommon speed. He has been clocked at 4.48 seconds in the forty and was a member of the Pine View track team, where he competed in the 100 and 200 meter sprints.
#42 RB/NG Villiami Hafoka
Villiami Hafoka at 5'9" 175 pounds looks too small to be the dominant football player that he is, but this is one of those times when something good comes in a small (but very muscular) package. Villi, as his teammates call him, was pressed into service as the Panthers' nose guard in 2007 when Taylor Harris became ineligible, but this year he will start at running back for the Panthers. Villi has tremendous lateral quickness which makes him an excellent fit for Pine View's zone running attack.
#1 TE/LB Taylor Orr
Taylor Orr, a 6'1" 215 pound senior tight end, will be an important weapon in the Pine View offensive arsenal for 2008. As a starter at tight end in 2007, Orr was one of the Panthers' leading receivers and was named first team all-region. Because of his outstanding athleticism, Orr may be one of the Panther's only two-way starters this year and will probably see time at the inside linebacker position. Orr has run a 4.6 forty and bench presses an impressive 325 pounds.
#54 OL Justin Lytle
Justin Lytle, a 6'2" 260 pound senior tackle, is one of four returning starters on the offensive line for the Panthers in 2008. Lytle is renowned for his excellent pass blocking skills and will start at the right tackle spot. Lytle started one varsity game as a sophomore and then became a full time starter as a junior. Last year he was named Second Team All Region. He benches 315 and squats 405.
#50 OL Jorden Gary
Jorden Gary, 6'3" 260 lb. senior, is a three-year starter for the Panthers. As a sophomore Jorden started at offensive left guard. As a junior he started at defensive tackle and was a First Team All Region selection. This year the versatile Gary will again start at defensive tackle. Jorden, who is a punishing heavyweight wrestler and benches over 400 and squats better than 500, will be a handful for opposing offensive linemen.
#6 QB Justin Ence

Justin Ence, a 5'11" 175 lb. senior, returns at quarterback. As a junior Ence rotated at quarterback with First Team All State Nick Marinko and was a potent weapon for the Panther offense. He led the team in rushing touchdowns and finished second in rushing yards behind tailback Travis Tait. Ence also started on defense at the free safety spot, where he led the Panthers in interceptions, was among the team leaders in tackles and was named First Team All State. Justin is fearless and a natural leader.

#31 MLB Adam Bangerter
Adam Bangerter, a 6'3" 227 lb. senior, returns for the Panthers at the middle linebacker spot in 2008, after a stellar junior year in which he led the team in tackles and was named All Region First Team. Bangerter will be the leader on defense and he is also the starting fullback on offense.
#56 LB Chris Pritchard

Chris Pritchard, a 6'0" 190 lb. senior, returns at outside linebacker for the Panthers in 2008. As a junior Chris was among the team leaders in sacks and was named First Team All Region. Although not big as linebackers go, Chris uses his outstanding speed and strength to dominate opponents. Pritchard has been timed at 4.54 seconds in the 40 yard dash and benches 315 and squats 405.
# 66 C Kevin Moss
Kevin Moss, a 6'4" 292 lb senior, will anchor the offensive line again in 2008 as the Panther's starting center. Moss was named First Team All Region as a junior. He benches 315 and squats 500.
#17 WR Robert Evans
Robert Evans, a 6'2" 200 lb. senior, returns for the Panthers at the wide receiver position. As a junior, Evans was the Panthers leading receiver and one of the top receivers in the state in almost every statistical category. Evans, who was named to the All State First Team last year, is attracting attention from college recruiters and is truly one of the most underrated players in the state.
#63 OL/DL Keaton Bale
Keaton Bale, a 6'0" 260 lb senior, started at defensive tackle for the Panthers as a junior, but will start on the offensive line in 2008, at guard. Bale is strong benching 340 and squatting 450 and is one of the mentally toughest of the Panthers.
